World War Three on the cards part 3

Destroyed Syrian town in ruins

Syrian civil war, a war which has killed nearly 5 lakh people and displaced 8 lakh more of them. A war going on for 6 years ans still far from being over. Usually a war be it civil or not is fought between two side of usually 2-4 belligerents. Here we have close to 70, may be more. Half of the forces are those who claim to be fighting the terrorists but the problem is the other half also claims the same. The main belligerents are Syrian Army, Syrian Opposition, Rojava and ISIS. Interestingly NATO members are supporting two of them openly, Syrian opposition and Rojava. ISIS here being the rogue one and Syrian army the original power backed by Russian forces. Here comes the Russia vs NATO part. NATO know very well how to score points in a civil war which was to be curbed easily but was instigated and used as a shield against Assad regime. There were even reports of British SAS seen supporting some of these prominent groups against Assad forces. Why so much interest in a small nation far away from once borders. And if NATO is actually that powerful or has intentions of defeating terrorism why not bomb these groups like Russia is doing. Well both the parties claim of air strikes on terrorists, the difference is that NATO air strikes are done on Assad regimes and rarely give results on terrorist stronghold but Russian offencive has forced ISIS to retreat. Why not be on the same sides if you actually wanna end terrorism. All nations in all summits and meetings claim to work with each other on fight against terrorism but on the ground they are distributing money and weapons to spread it more. Just to satisfy their vested interests they allow innocents to be butchered like cattle. NATO is a global force, it can easily destroy terrorists hide outs around the globe but it take sides fighting them. In Afghanistan and Iraq they choose to fight them but in other parts they choose to fight with them covertly. May be the whole concept of global presence and the superpower hangover has lead the US to be in a confused state of policies. Though they never found weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, though they found Osama in Pakistan and still give that rogue nation huge aids, there point of invading is yet to prove. Even their people don't support these invasions. Trump is what people now expect to take US to true American values. But what about the burning world they have left now along with other so called NATO peacekeepers. Turkey one of the NATO members was also reported to help ISIS and even shot down a Russian fighter which was not even hostile towards turkey but was simply targeting Isis hideouts. Which nations are truly fighting this menace with full conviction and without any vested interests ?

up next, keep checking...
