Chinks in the Armor

We all have heard how much powerful Beijing is and how it can attack and conquer any thing in the world within hours. Yeah these kind of claims are as laughable as the Tom and Jerry kids show. Far from reality, rampant corruption in the military, issues which cant be accepted by Chinese communist party in public and many more. today well go through all Chinese claims and the lies their state owned censored media projects to the outside world.

• Claim 1 - They can reach Delhi in 48 hours and their paratroopers in 10 hours
• Reality - motorised infantries can never cross Himalayas due to its terrain, a natural wall against intruders.

• Claim 2 - Indians have 600 tanks
  Reality - India has more then 5000+ main battle tanks

• Claim 3 - China out numbers India by in military personnel by almost 2:1
• Reality - People's liberation army includes PLA Ground force, PLA air force, PLA navy, PLA rocket force and PLA strategic support force

On the other hand Indian forces are independent and work under a network centric unified command

so technically if PLA adds up all its forces and says we have 2.6 million active personnel is more of an exaggeration as they always do to please their own people or should i say fool their own people. Naval, air force and rocket force personnel dint form the infantry battalions of any army. Only a small portion if these personnel form the combatant roles which are mainly special commandos. Indian Numbers of 1.3 million active troops are just of the army, rest military wings and paramilitary forces are not included. So the myth of 2:1 is another propaganda term.

• Claim 3 - They have military advantage over India
• Reality - lets break it up beyond the number game. Now we clearly know Chinese ground forces are 1.6 million active troops but the biggest obstacle they have is hostile neighbours  all around their cost lines. China's land area is 9.6 million square kilometres. You cant send your full force on one side of your border. India has a land area of 3.2 million square kilometres. Now China needs to guard 3 times more area then Indians need to. Whereas the only hostile nation India has is Pakistan which is literally a cake walk for Indian forces but Chinese have lots of hostile and ready to attack nations on all its sides.

• Claim 4 - They have more nuclear missiles and with more range.
• Reality - China lags far behind India in space race and missile rocket technology. Indian missiles right now have a range of 5500-8000km, which is more then enough to cover all of Chinese territory. Chinese missiles can also reach all over Indian territory but their range doesn't even matter because you dint need a 10000-20000km range missile to cover distances of 5000km. The main aspect which differentiates the capabilities of missile systems of both nations is technology. Space rocket science and missile technology go hand in hand. Chinese might have more missiles but the effectiveness is always in question. Regarding their blabbing of more nukes, well it needs only 5-10 missiles to destroy any continent. Another gimmick i suppose. China should refrain from these nuclear threats.

• Claim 5 - Indigenous ability create own weapon systems.
• Reality - well keep it simple here, when did copying weapons of modern powers became indigenous inventions ?

• Claim 6 - They wont accept threat to sovereignty by any nation and would go to any extent to repulse the threat.
• Reality - This sentence is true but only on smaller and weak nations. They were about to repulse the threat in South China Sea too but suddenly from no where USA and Japan came in to the equation and now china wants a peaceful solution. Similarly with Indian forces. Chinese were thrown out of every territory they tried to mingle with India. The Doklam stand off is the latest example where Indian troops refused to budge out and are safe guarding Bhutan's interests too. Chinese threat is always strong on their state owned media only.

• Claim 7 - Our soldiers are best trained and most professional in the world.
• Reality - An average Chinese soldier spends 40% training time in learning communist propaganda so as to stay loyal to communist party. No nation on earth follows such non-military training routines.

• Claim 8 - Takes credit of anti-piracy operations in Gulf of Aden.
• Reality - Indian navy was responsible for most missions their along with Indian Marcos commandos. Which china clearly hides to fool its own people.
